  • CPU插座是什麼?
    CPU插座是主機板上將處理器和印刷電路板連接的插座,可以輕鬆插拔CPU,不用透過焊接固定。CPU插座大多出現在個人電腦和伺服器的主機板上,跟筆記型電腦用表面黏著技術固定處理器的概念不同,後者可以節省空間,但無法輕易插拔替換。

    CPU插座有兩種常見的分類,分別是插針網格陣列封裝(PGA)和平面網格陣列封裝(LGA),兩者的差異是,插針網格陣列封裝將針腳放在處理器上,插進CPU插座上的小孔完成安裝;平面網格陣列封裝則是將針腳放在插座上,連接處理器底部的觸點。不同CPU的針腳數量和排列方式都不一樣,但一般來說,針腳越多、越密集,訊號傳輸就越快速。

    CPU插座將伺服器的大腦,也就是處理器,跟整台伺服器做連結,因此是必備元件。有些CPU插座可能外觀相似,但不表示所使用的處理器可以隨意互換,因此,務必要使用與CPU插座相容的處理器產品。
